Transform your event with AV

Transform your event with AV

If someone said ‘event AV’ to you, you’d probably think about mics and big screens. But there is so much more to audio-visual than that.

It can enhance the look and feel of your event, offer an unparalleled delegate experience, and even boost engagement.

Last week, the stage at the Elgar Concert Hall in The Bramall dazzled for the University’s Annual Meeting, with a huge high-impact LED screen, which drew every eye and created a cinema-like experience.

The clarity and brightness of the LED screen took the event to another level compared to a traditional projection setup“, said Stuart Panrucker, Events Assistant for the University’s Stakeholder Relations Team. “The Bramall technical team worked hard to showcase our work in an original and exciting way.

Of course, not every event an academic conference doesn’t need all the AV bells and whistles that a larger-scale performance or award ceremony might do. So, it’s important to consider exactly what you want to achieve with your event before choosing the right AV for you.

With years of experience tech expertise, our AV team can help you get started, offering you the right level of support for your event and budget. Here are just three ways you can bring your event to life with us at the University of Birmingham.

  • Lighting packages to help enhance your space and present yourself in a good light.

Bring the drama

The crème de la crème of AV sets the stage and immerses your audience in your event. It can create a specific atmosphere, make a statement, and even dazzle the hardest to impress. Take your event to the next level with:

  • Uplighting to draw attention to certain venue features and points of interest.
  • Coloured alcove and room lighting to reflect your conference theme or event branding.
  • LED walls where you can beam video content and more, both internally and externally.
  • Wall projections, including full colour logos, branding and unique designs.
  • A surround sound system to create an immersive experience.
