The TLB houses the University’s largest lecture theatre, seating 500. A second lecture theatre, additional rooms and adaptable spaces make moving between sessions simple for delegates.

The stylish gold and glass structure is modern, airy and accessible inside and out. Located on the University’s Green Heart open space, the TLB enjoys stunning views of grass, trees and sky, while enjoying a convenient central location. It’s the ideal setting for a conference.

Rich AV facilities are available throughout the venue, supported by our in-house technical team. You’ll also enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas.


Choose from a variety of catering options, from light refreshments to hot and cold buffets. The TLB also has its own café.


Level ground floor access is via the Green Heart, which provides an accessible route from car parking, University train station and the rest of campus. Floors 1 to 3 are accessible by lift. Lecture theatre and room entrances are level and wide.


The TLB opens in 2020, with booking available from early summer.
