Food Fellows is our in-house catering team who are experts in retail and event hospitality. This specialist group of chefs and servers can create unique menus that reflect the role and purpose of the event. From lunches and buffets to dinners and gala evenings, every menu is local, seasonal and sustainable.
We work closely with the University’s Food Fellows catering team to bring you the best food and drink for your conference, meeting or event.
Meals are freshly prepared by trained chefs, ingredients are seasonal and additive-free, meat can be traced back to the farm and meet UK animal welfare standards, eggs are free range and fish is sustainable. Whatever your dietary or religious requirements, we can cater for it. We work with local suppliers to make sure our dishes are sustainable and authentic.

Kimiko is a sister of the family-run business Tanpopo which brings authentic Japanese flavours to the UK. Every dish has been created by a Japanese head chef which means you’re getting the true taste of Japan. Embracing sustainability, Kimiko carefully sources its ingredients, and removes its waste via biomass generators.
Dr Bob Tyler founder of The Roots and Renewal Foundation works with vulnerable youngsters to grow produce on a Birmingham allotment, helping to transform and develop their skills.

Nestled in between Hockley Heath and Henley-in-Arden on the Umberslade Estate, is Farmer Ted’s Shed, home to their marvellous herd of Montbeliardes cows. Milk is gently pasteurised, cows are well kept and looked after, and they work with the Food Standards Agency to deliver the best quality farm-fresh produce.
Wild Side Preserves forage hedgerows along the inland waterways of England and Wales. Supporting Canal & River Trust, the couple cruise on their narrowboats – The Jam Butty and Wand’ring Bark – experimenting with flavours to create tasty homemade preserves.
Clipper Tea was started in 1984 in a Dorset kitchen by a couple fiercely committed to ethical sourcing and natural production. All their teabags are plant-based and biodegradable.
A Midlands-based roastery already much-loved in the city centre, 200 Degrees prides itself on its rich and smooth coffee, achieved by hand-roasting beans at the lower temperature of 200°C. 200 Degrees is proud to ethically source its green beans and work with Rainforest Alliance Certified farms to serve up coffee that doesn’t just taste good, but does good too.
