Collaborating with sustainable suppliers

We actively seek out suppliers who place sustainability at the forefront of their operations.

Before we work with any suppliers for events or meetings, we make sure they align with our sustainability policy, and evaluate them on their eco-friendly practices.

For example, our marquee suppliers, Fews has award-winning credentials for their sustainable practices, making them the perfect supplier for outdoors events on the Green Heart. This was also the case when we were selecting which contractor to partner with when upgrading the tech in the Elgar Concert Hall within the Bramall. In that instance, each company was expected to provide evidence of carrying out sustainable practices during both delivery and the installation.

Not only do we boast beautiful venues and spaces across University of Birmingham, and our city venue, The Exchange: we also offer delicious food and drink menus to suit any occasion, and a team of event experts to help you from start to finish.

We can support you with events management, helping you to build your event from scratch, and manage all aspects including catering in our venues as well as event spaces across the city.
