This is a unique series of spaces that represent a total of 12 acres across the campus. Host to many live performances, festivals, outdoor events and teambuilding days, the Green Heart offers endless possibilities when it comes to creating outdoor stages and marquees. There’s also boosted Wi-Fi throughout the area, plus plenty of room for outdoor catering options.
To preserve campus’ grounds, marquees and stages require prior approval, which your events team can organise for you. Other external equipment may also need prior permission, so simply ask your event coordinator to advise.
This central space changes throughout the year and is always planted with colourful wildflowers, native plants, and dozens of trees and evergreens.
It’s important to note that in many cases outdoor events require licences for music, alcohol and screenings. The University already has the relevant licences for this area and your event coordinator will ensure the right documentation is provided.
