Live performances, festivals, outdoor events and teambuilding days – our 12 acres of parkland at the centre of campus Green Heart offers exciting possibilities. We can build outdoor stages and erect marquees; the whole area benefits from boosted Wi-Fi; and there’s plenty of room for catering options too.

The Green Heart is always planted with colourful wildflowers, native plants, and dozens of trees and evergreens.

To preserve campus’ grounds, marquees and stages require prior approval, which our events team can organise for you. Other external equipment may also need permission, so simply ask your event coordinator to advise.

It’s important to note that in many cases outdoor events require licences for music, alcohol and screenings. The University already has the relevant licences for this area and your event coordinator will ensure the right documentation is provided.
