More than a spring clean

More than a spring clean

We’re all about delivering customer excellence through the entire event lifecycle. So, we’ve taken a hard look at our website.

Not just a bunch of venues

We refuse to take it for granted that we have some of the best conference and events facilities in the country. We pride ourselves on being event experts, and we passionately believe that what makes us world-class is the decades of combined experience that our team has in supporting and managing events.

Starting from now, we’re injecting that fundamental belief into this blog; which represents our commitment to you:

  1. The customer journey will be easy, simple, and supported
  2. You will see and feel our dedication to your success, and have faith in our specialisms
  3. We will communicate with you effectively and always desire your feedback

We want you to rely on this space for the following content:

  • Stay on trend through industry insight and thought leadership, written by industry experts
  • Be on the beat with regular updates and service developments
  • Be inspired through case studies
  • See why we specialise in Academic Conferences and Sport & Major Events

Filter out the noise

Your time is valuable, so we’ve overhauled our approach to presenting our venues and accommodation. Now you can use our venue filter to return results based on the criteria for your next event, so there’s less clicking and reading. Plus, you’ll have more confidence in the enquiry that you’ve submitted to us.

Out with the old, in with the blue

We’ve given our visual identity a lick of paint, but there’s a lot more to what we’re doing here. If we’ve learned anything from the pandemic, it’s that seeing people is amazing. Networking is vital. Events are all about people and networking. That’s why we’ve made a personal commitment to showing you more pictures of our events and our people, rather than empty venues.

We think it’s just a bit more real.

Being real about accessibility

We are passionate about accessible events. That’s why we’ve increased the prominence and level of information available about accessibility at each of our venues.

Accessibility doesn’t just exist in the physical world either, so we’ve taken time to develop this website to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines as closely as we can, and ensure we have a road map for additional compliance. These guidelines help us to maximise the experience of users with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments.

In the coming weeks we’ll be publishing tips to increase accessibility for event portals and any other websites you manage.

What do you think?

We’ve done a few things, but we are still learning. Please take 30 seconds to rate our website below and provide any additional comments using the reply box below.
