Make an impact in this historic hall, built as ‘a cathedral to learning’.

This Grade II-listed red-brick hall was built in 1900, and has welcomed thousands of students for graduation ceremonies across the decades.

Now it inspires delegates and visitors alike as one of the University’s accredited Venues of Excellence, with a trompe l’oeil domed ceiling above its formal marble entrance, and a noteworthy sense of space.

Marquees

The lawns of Chancellor’s Court (directly outside) are ideal for marquees, to provide additional exhibition space or catering venues. To preserve the campus grounds, marquees require prior approval; your events team can organise this for you.
