How to find us
The Lapworth Museum of Geology can be found at : University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TT.
On arrival at the university, make your way towards the clock tower, affectionately known as ‘Old Joe’, which you can easily see from most locations on campus.
The fully-accessible entrance to the Lapworth is situated on Ring Road South inside the original Aston Webb semicircle of red-brick buildings.
Guests arriving before 18.00 Monday to Friday will need to park in the University’s North East Car Park on Pritchatts Road, B15 2SA. This is a Pay and Display car park.
Parking is available around the university campus free of charge after 18.00 on weekdays, and all day on weekends. This is accessible via the university’s East Gate, on Edgbaston Park Road.
Our bed and breakfast accommodation is located at Lucas House Hotel, just a short walk from the main campus.
